Police distribute books among needy children

UDHAMPUR, Dec 27: In order to assist the needy children of far flung areas in their studies, Police distributed books to them.
Police team comprising of Inspector Sohan Singh and others of Police Station Basantgarh, under the supervision of Dr Bhishm Dubey, SDPO Ramnagar, visited far flung areas of Basantgarh and distributed the colourful reading books, pencils and candies among more than 80 children which can help them in getting basic knowledge on language and general knowledge.
Udhampur Police has taken this imitative with the aim of providing books to the poor children as the schools are closed due to Corona virus and students are sitting at homes.
Parents lauded the efforts of the Udhampur Police which would help many children in their studies.
