Police distributes study material among Nari Niketan children

RAJOURI, Mar 12: Carrying forward its mission to develop and maintain better  Police – Public relations, Rajouri Police today distributed free Track suits, school bags, note-books and other study materials amongst poor and needy 30 children of Nari Niketan.
Under Civic Action Programme, these items were distributed under the supervision of DIG R-P Range Hqrs  Rajouri,  Johnny William   and SSP Rajouri  Rajeshwar Singh, who personally handed over the study material to children.
The function was attended by District Social Welfare officer and other citizens of Rajouri town, who  conveyed their thanks to J&K Police for distributing the study materials for the benefit of  children.
While speaking on the occasion, Johnny William  and Rajeshwar Singh   emphasized on the need of providing education to the orphan children, which in turn can help in overall development of the society.
DIG Rajouri -Poonch further said that it is the endeavor of J&K Police to make society literate and aware about their legal rights and at the same time to improve Police-Public relationship and to reduce the communication gap between Police and Public.
