Police extends helping hand to family in shifting patient to hospital

UDHAMPUR, May 16: Extending a helping hand during the lockdown time, Udhampur Police today helped a family to shift their ailing son to hospital in Jammu.
Police received an information about deteriorating condition of a boy namely Rohit Kumar, son of Bishan Dass of Bachhal, Sudhmahadev in Chenani Tehsil, who is suffering from brain tumor and had been operated few days ago. The boy was not able to taker food/medicine as his throat was getting blocked, but his parents were unable to shift him to Super Specialty Hospital Jammu for treatment due to the ongoing lockdown.
On receiving information in this regard, Police party of PP Sudhmahadev, led by SI Arun Singh Slathia IC PP Sudhmahadev and his team, arranged movement pass and vehicle for the patient to reach Hospital and also contributed Rs 5000/- as financial help for the treatment of said boy.
Due to this initiative of Udhampur Police, the patient could timely reach the hospital timely and his treatment has been started.
