Police fails to arrest culprits in murder case

BHADERWAH, Dec 28: Despite lapse of over one month, Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP), have failed to unravel the mystery behind murder of a youth in Puneja area of Charalla Thathri.
As per reports, body of 24-year-old Manjeet Kumar Bhagat, son of Faqir Chand of Puneja was found in the pool of blood in Charalla nallah on November 25.
The deceased had gone to attend the function of his relative on November 24 and his dead body was found in Charalla nallah in pool of blood on November 25, family members of the deceased told reporters here.
Unhappy with the pace of investigation by the police, the family members in a press conference alleged that even after lapse of over one month, the police has failed to arrest the culprits behind the murder of their kin.
No substantive progress has been made in the case by the police, they alleged.
The family members urged the police to arrest the culprits behind the murder at the earliest.
