In compliance with the considerations of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Police terminated the services of nearly 231 employees after seven years of services. The ousted wireless operators said that they were selected as constable (wireless operators) in J&K police but after rendering their services for seven years, they were terminated by the department “with a very impractical reason”.
“We were told that criteria for constable posts is now considered on State level. What kind of justice this is?” they asked. They said that Government was not thinking about their families and have plunged them into starvation.
