Police hands over mentally unsound person to UP family

JAMMU, Sept 6: The police today handed over a mentally retarded person hailing from Utter Pradesh and arrested near Indo-Pak border in Phallain Mandal to his family.
Official sources said that Army authorities nabbed one person moving under mysterious circumstances near an Army installation, closer to Indo- Pak border in Phallain Mandal area on September 4. After questioning in the nearby Army unit, he was handed over to Beli Charana Police, under Satwari Police Station’s jurisdiction.
Identified as Ram Kishore Sagar, son of Malyam, resident of Intpur Shateli near Chura Patti in Tehsil Bisle, district Badayun in Utter Pradesh, he was placed under sustained interrogation by police. The police party then contacted Bisle Police Station in UP and came to know that he was mentally unsound and family was looking for him. Today, his brothers, Ram Kumar and Sat Parkash came from UP and Ram Kishore was handed over to them by Incharge Police Post, Beli Charana, S Hazara Singh after completion of legal formalities.
