SRINAGAR, June 21: Police today claimed that it held two workshop-cum-awareness camp on drug de-addiction in Kupwara and Anantnag districts.
A police spokesman said in Anantnag, SSP Sheikh Junaid praised the activities being carried out by civil defense Anantnag to aware the general masses how to curb the menace of drug addiction.
He emphasized upon the civil defense organization to gear up more and more such activities in the district so that general public may be benefitted.
A seminar was held on drug de-addiction in Kupwara which was attended among others by Mufti Mohammad Amin, Imam Jamia Trehgam and Zaingli Kupwara, President Teachers Forums Kupwara, representative of Civil Society Kupwara and CMO Kupwara also attended the function.
