Police officers visit martyrs’ families

DODA, Oct 26: In order to express solidarity and perceive the well-being of the NoKs of the police martyrs, police officers posted in District Doda visited the residences of NoKs of various martyrs who had laid down their lives in the line of duty.
A roster was issued by DPO Doda wherein all the officers posted in District Doda were directed to visit the families and NoKs of martyrs in order to know their well being, show solidarity with them and note down the grievances if any so that their the same can be resolved or put forth before appropriate forum for redressal.
The officers who visited the martyrs families and NoKs include SP Bhaderwah Abdul Qayoom, SP Headquarters Doda Master Popsy, SP (Ops) Doda Raj Kumar, DySP DAR Doda Shokat Ali, all SHOs and Incharge Police Posts and Incharge Police Components of District Doda.
The officers held detailed interaction with families and NOKs of various martyrs who attained martyrdom during the last thirty years.
During interaction with martyrs’ families, the visiting officers listened to their grievances patiently and assured them that their genuine grievances and problems will be taken up at appropriate level for timely redressal.
The visiting officers emphasized on them to consider Police Department as their family and share their problems especially in case of exigencies.
While expressing their solidarity with NoKs, the officers assured them that J&K Police will always remain indebted to these martyrs who have sacrificed their lives to create the atmosphere of peace and tranquillity in J&K.
The next of kin of the martyrs’ expressed their satisfaction and hoped to further strengthen this bond.
