KATHUA, Mar 3: A police official was killed today in a road accident near the office of Superintendent of Police, Kathua.
“The deceased was identified as Police Constable Ajatshatru son of Srishti Sharma, resident of Village Uttri (Kathua),” police sources said. They said the lone brother of three sisters, Ajatshstru was on way to Village Uttri when his motorocycle was hit by a speedy bus bearing registration number JK02BM-5015.
Ajatshatru was crushed to death on the spot, sources said, adding, a Police team reached on the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital Kathua for postmortem. The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
