Police pays floral tribute to constable killed by gunmen in south Kashmir

SRINAGAR:  Jammu and Kashmir Police today paid floral tributes to a Selection Grade (SG) constable, who was shot dead by unidentified gunmen early this morning in south Kashmir district of Pulwama.

A police spokesperson here today said a wreath laying ceremony led by Superintendent of Police Rayees Mohammad Bhat was held in District Police Lines Pulwama where floral tributes were paid to the martyr constable Khurshid Ahmad Ganie. He said the deceased was martyred in Quil, when he was leaving his home for duties at District Police Lines Pulwama.

He said the deceased policeman is survived by wife, 14-year-old son and father. (Agencies)
