POONCH, Jan 13: Continuing crackdown on the drug- peddlers, the police nabbed one person and recovered a consignment of about 105 gms charas from his possession in Mandi area of Poonch district today.
Official sources said that on Monday, a police party from Police Station Mandi during a naka on Azmabad Road, in Mandi at around 3 pm noticed a person. He was identified as Mohd Rafiq, son of Ghulam Qadar, a resident of Chamber Kanari, Tehsil Mandi.
Upon his personal search, 105 grams of Charas was recovered from his possession.
Following this, a case FIR No. 03/2025 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act was registered against him at Mandi Police Station. Further, investigation was in progress.
