KISHTWAR, Feb 9: Cyber Cell of Police here today recovered 15 lost smart phones worth lakhs of rupees.
SSP Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom handed-over the recovered phones to their legitimate owners and appealed to the general public to take utmost care of their mobile phones as they always contain personal data of an individual and there is every possibility of its misuse.
On receiving back their lost mobile phones, the owners felt elated and expressed gratitude towards Kishtwar Police, especially to SSP Kishtwar for arduous effort in tracing out the missing mobiles.
SSP Kishtwar emphasized on the importance of safeguarding mobile devices due to the sensitive information they often contain.
He said that such information can be misused.
