SAMBA, Feb, 13: District police Samba today recovered a minor kidnapped girl within 36 hours in a kidnapping case registered at Police Station (PS) Bari Brahmana.
Police said on February 11, an information was received at PS Bari Brahmana regarding kidnapping of a minor girl from lower Jallo Chak area, Bari Brahmana.
Acting swiftly, a case FIR No. 35/2022 U/S 363 IPC got registered at PS Bari Brahmana and search started to recover the said kidnapped girl.
After hectic efforts made by the police team of PS Bari Brahmana led by SHO, Inspector, Rajesh Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana, Shivali Kotwal, the kidnapped girl was recovered from Salehar, Tehsil Bishnah, district Jammu.
