KISHTWAR, Mar 18: The Cybercrime Investigation Unit of District Police Kishtwar has successfully solved the case of online fraud and recovered the siphoned money amounting to Rs. 1,09,000.
After receiving complaints from Sangle Sahadeo and Suresh Kumar regarding online fraud related to mobile recharge and installation of third-party mobile apps, the Cybercrime Investigation Unit swiftly initiated investigation.
Both victims had reported losses to the tune of Rs. 1,09,000.
I/C Cybercrime Investigation Unit Kishtwar, PSI Moin Khan led the cyber investigation team which used advanced technical skills and succeeded in recovering the defrauded amount.
District Police Kishtwar has appealed to the general public to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious online activities to the National Cybercrime Helpline Number 1930 or CCIU unit Kishtwar 9103416100 or PCR Kishtwar 9906154100, 9103454100.
