RAMBAN, Nov 26: Police here today recovered 11 kg 300 gm of Charas (cannabis) worth Rs. 35 lakh in international black market.
On the directions of SSP Ramban, Mohita Sharma, a Police team from Police Post Ukhral led by PSI Ishan Sharma laid a special Naka at Nagetra Senabathi area of Ukhral and recovered 11 kg 300 gm Charas from a car of Santro make bearing registration number JK01Q- 2299.
In this regard a case in FIR number 124/2023 under section 8/20 NDPS was registered at Police Station Ramsoo.
The recovery and seizure were made under the guidance of SHO Police Station Ramsu, Inspector Harjeet Singh under the supervision of SDPO Banihal, Ajay Jamwal with the overall supervision of Mohita Sharma, SSP Ramban.
However no arrest was made till last reports.
SDPO Banihal, Ajay Jamwal said that Police are on the job of arresting the persons involved in narcotics smuggling.
