RAMBAN, Nov 14: Police here today achieved major success by recovering 3 kg 148 gm Charas from Sharwadhar Ridge falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramsoo.
On the directions of SSP Ramban, Mohita Sharma, a police team from Police Post Ukhral headed by PSI Ishan Sharma while on LRP duty with Army Personnel of 12 RR at Sharwadhar Ridge, Ukhral found two packets containing 3 kg 148 gm Charas which was kept by unknown accused persons and the place was covered with snow.
These packets were lying abandoned.
In this regard a case in FIR number 122/2023 U/S 08/20 NDPS was registered.
The overall recovery was made under the guidance of Inspector Harjeet Singh, SHO Ramsoo, under the supervision of Ajay Jamwal, SDPO Banihal, Gourav Mahajan, ASP Ramban and under overall supervision of Mohita Sharma, SSP Ramban.
Further investigation in the case was going on.
