Police rescue 21-year-old woman from Qasim Nagar

JAMMU, Dec 2: Police today rescued a 21-year-old woman from the house of another woman at Qasim Nagar locality here.
A police spokesperson said that a raid was conducted at Qasim Nagar area today evening by a team of police officers from Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station led by SHO Arti Thakur to check anti-social activity, if any, in the area.
During the raid, police got to know about a 21-year-old woman, Rani from Banaras, Uttar Pradesh, who was putting up with another woman, Sapna, from Punjab, at present Qasim Nagar locality, for the past around two months, without the knowledge of the police, he said.
“Since the name of the 21-year-old woman, Rani, had also been changed to Muskan, police got suspicious and accordingly, rescued the woman from the clutches of Sapna, who is being quizzed. The rescued woman is also being questioned.
Till the press time, no FIR was registered in this case.
