Police rescues 150 people

Srinagar, Aug 14: Police today rescued around 150 people in South Kashmir who were trapped due to floods caused by heavy rains.
Police said that Kulgam Police rescued 125 persons from Brazlu from over flowing Veshve nallah, besides; large number of cattle were also evacuated. 25 persons were also rescued in Mirhama. All the evacuated persons have been shifted and adjusted at Government Middle School, Brazula.
Anantnag Police also rescued five persons at Yannar, Pahalgam and helping people in Amadzoo, Arigol villagers. All police stations have been alerted in view of incessant rains across the Valley.
