Police rescues 19 bovine animals, 2 held

JAMMU, Apr 3: Police today arrested two bovine smugglers and rescued 19 milch animals from their possession.
Police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Miran Sahib police station laid a naka at Kotli Mian Fateh and intercepted two trucks bearing registration numbers JKO2AK-6741 and JKO2AG-6107.
During checking, police recovered 19 bovine animals and arrested two smugglers identified as Kala Khan, son of Manzoor Ahmed and Mohd Tohib, son of Jamat Ali, both residents of Rangoora, Sidhra.
A case under FIR number 43/13 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Miran Sahib police station and investigation started.
Police party led by SHO Ravi Singh Parihar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Diwakar Singh and SP Headquarters Shailender Singh.
