JAMMU, Aug 9: In a daring operation, Nagrota police successfully rescued two persons stuck in the Tawi river in Sidhra area.
As soon as message regarding two persons getting stuck in the Tawi river following a sudden increase in water level was received, team led by SDPO Nagrota Mohan Sharma, Tehsildar Ravi Shanker, SHO Nagrota Mohd Showket and Incharge Police Post Sidhra Ayub Khan reached the spot immediately.
The Nagrota team with the help of SDRF successfully rescued the trapped persons who have been identified as Shamasdin and Laden, both residents of Nagrota.
The locals highly appreciated the timely action of Nagrota police.
