Police reunite 4 missing persons with families in Samba

SAMBA, Jan 29: Police in Samba district has reunited four missing persons, including three women, with their family members.
A police official said that two missing reports vide DD number 06 dated February 24, 2023 and DD number 16 dated December 20, 2024 were entered at Police Station Bari Brahmana on the basis of written reports lodged by one Niku Ram of Kartholi Dhyansar brother of missing person and Pawan Kumar of Dolian, tehsil Bari Brahmana, husband of a missing woman.
Similar missing reports were lodged at Police Station Purmandal and Police Post Supwal vide DD number 10 dated January 20, 2025 and DD number 12 dated January 2, 2025 on the basis of written reports lodged by the family members hailing from Gurgani (Purmandal) and Chhaterpur MP at present Nanak Chak Samba respectively, he said.
After hectic efforts, the police official said the teams of Police Stations Bari Brahmana, Purmandal and Police Post Supwal traced the missing persons from different areas and after completing the legal formalities, reunited them with their families.
The missing persons, were traced by police teams under the supervision of SSP Samba Varinder Manhas.
Accordingly, the missing reports have been closed in all the cases, he added.
