KATHUA, May 20: A private Ultrasound Clinic known as Nisha Ultra Sound near Shaheedi Chowk was closed by police after directions from district administration Kathua.
According to officials , one of recently traced out positive cases of village Rajbagh having community transmission underwent Ultra -Sonography at Nisha Ultra Sound centre few days back before delivery of a girl child at GMC Kathua. Despite showing a sheer negligence by the Clinic administration, it was allowed to operate by Medical Department reason better known to them.
Meanwhile Health Department has started tracing the contact history of those underwent Ultra -Sonography in past few days. When matter came in the notice of Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, OP Bhagat, not wasting a single minute he asked the CMO, Kathua, Dr Ashok Choudhary to immediately close down the clinic and start Covid19 sampling of staff and Dr Nisha working in the Sonography Clinic as Administration is worried to know the community transmission contact of Corona positive women who has delivered a baby on May 12 of this month and got Sonography conducted in ending of April 2020.
