JAMMU, Apr 25: Jammu and Kashmir Police have sought help in identifying a dead person who was run over by a train in the jurisdiction of Bari Brahmana Police Station on April 21 this year.
According to police, the deceased, who was run over by the Katra-Delhi Special Train, and aged around 24-25 years, was found on the Railway Track at 89/26 Kms.
Police said that the deceased was wearing a blue jean pant and a yellow check shirt. He was wheatish in complexion. The body of the deceased has been kept in the mortuary room of the Government Medical College Jammu for post-mortem and identification.
Inquest proceedings have also been initiated at Police Post GRP Bari Brahamana to ascertain the actual cause of the death.
