JAMMU, Mar 20: A public meeting was today conducted at Chinore in the presence of SDPO Domana DySP Kosheen Koul and SHO Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma in which Corporator, Sarpanchs, Panchs, Numberdars etc from various areas and senior citizens of the area were also present.
During the meeting people raised various issues with regard to Police and others civil matters. Issues related to police were addressed on spot and for rest issues it was assured that they will be taken up with the concerned departments. Participants were apprised to share information with police especially with regard to sale and purchase of narcotics, illicit liquor and special focus to be given to Motor Vehicle Act violations and wrong parkings which have led to accidents in recent past.
They were also apprised not to play into the hands of any anti-social elements and that in case any one is found violating the law, strict action will be taken.
