POONCH, Mar: 19: The District Police, Poonch during crackdown on illegal mining activities in Surankote, Jhullas and Ajote area, seized five vehicles, to ensure no unauthorized mining activities take place in the area.
Official sources said that the police have reiterated their commitment to maintaining strict compliance with mining regulations.
Senior Superintendent of Police Poonch, Shafket Hussain said, ” Illegal mining not only damages our environment but also undermines the economy. We urge all individuals and entities to abide by the law. Anyone found engaging in illegal activities will face severe legal action.”
