Police seizes 8.98 grams of heroin

KATHUA, July 8: Kathua police has recovered 8.98 grams of Heroin (Chitta) like narcotics from Chak Drab Khan area falling under jurisdiction of Police Station (PS) Kathua and arrested one drug peddler in this regard.
Police said an information was received through the reliable sources that one person namely Makhan Singh, son of Bhajan Singh of Gujrair tehsil and district Kathua was doing illegal trade of narcotics and has kept huge quantity of narcotics in his possession.

Kathua during naka checking at Chak Drab Khan near Tube Well area apprehended the drug peddler and seized 8.98 grams of Heroin from him.
A case vide FIR No. 293/2023 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act has been registered at PS Kathua while further investigation is underway.
