KATHUA, Nov 22: To contain the spread of narcotics, drugs and Psychotropic substances within the district, Kathua Police under the guidance of SSP, R C Kotwal- today seized 9.24 grams of heroin at Kathua, arrested one drug peddler and seized the narcotics on the spot.
Police said a team of Police Station (PS), Kathua led by Inspector, O P Chib SHO, PS, Kathua under the supervision of in charge DySP Headquarters, Kathua, Sukhdev Singh during patrolling and checking duty in its jurisdictional area apprehended one person namely Raj Kumar son of Kuldeep Singh of W.No. 07, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Sujanpur Pathankot. During checking 9.24 gram of heroin was recovered from his possession. The drug peddler was arrested. A case vide FIR Number 446/2022 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station (PS) Kathua and further investigation is underway.
