KATHUA, Apr 20: Acting sternly against illegal mining within the district, Kathua police today seized one excavator machine indulged in illegal
mining of construction material at Ujh Bridge area of Police Post (PP) Nagri.
A police team headed by PSI, Rahul Prashar in charge, PP Nagri under the supervision of DySP Headquarters, Kathua, Manjeet Singh and Inspector, Sudhir Sadhotra SHO, PS Kathua during patrolling/checking duty in its jurisdictional area at Ujh bridge Nagri area seized one Excavator machine indulged in illegal mining of construction material without any legal permission.
The Excavator was seized and immediately handed over to the officials of the Geological and Mining Department Kathua for further legal proceedings.
