KATHUA, Feb 14: Acting against illegal mining within the district, Kathua police under the overall supervision of SSP, Shivdeep Singh Jamwal today seized one JCB Machine indulged in illegal mining of construction material in the jurisdictional area of Police Post (PP) Jakhole at Muikhad.
Police said a team headed by Sub Inspector (SI) Ram Krishan in charge Police Post (PP) Jakhole under the supervision of SDPO, Border, Pankaj Soodan during checking duty in its jurisdictional area at Muikhad seized one JCB Machine bearing Registration Number, JK02CH-8304 which was doing illegal mining. The JCB was seized and immediately handed over to the officials of Geological and Mining Department, Kathua for further legal proceedings.
