Police solves 2 theft cases

JAMMU, Sept 3: Jammu Police have successfully solved two separate theft cases, demonstrating their efficiency and commitment to public safety.
In the first incident, a complaint was lodged on August 15th/16th by Prince Malhotra, a resident of Puran Nagar (Talab Tillo, Jammu), reporting the theft of his motorcycle (registration number JK02DJ-3588) from outside his house.
Following the complaint, FIR Number 125/2024 under Section 303(2) BNS was registered at Police Station Nowabad. The investigation, led by the Incharge of Police Post Talab Tillo with guidance from senior officers, resulted in the arrest of two suspects, Rahul Kumar of Bhawani Nagar, Talab Tillo, and Sahil Kumar alias Bhalla of Om Nagar Camp, Gol Gujral. Both suspects admitted their involvement and the stolen motorcycle was recovered.
In a separate but equally swift operation, the Sarwal Police recovered a stolen car within 24 hours of the complaint being lodged. The car, bearing registration number JK02M-8798, was reportedly stolen from outside the complainant’s residence and was tracked to Amb Garota using a combination of advanced technical tools and human intelligence.
