JAMMU, June 14: Talab Tillo police today solved a hit and run case within one hour by arresting the absconding accused.
According to a police spokesman, a rashly driven Swift car (Registration No JK02BD-0016) being driven by a man identified as Rohit Raina son of Bishamber Dass Raina, resident of Paloura, today hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AP-0587 near Patel Nagar petrol pump on Akhnoor road and ran from the spot after leaving the bike rider injured.
The injured bike rider namely Om Parkash Bakshi son of Ram Saya Bakshi, resident of Patel Nagar (Akhnoor Road, Jammu) was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment and a case in this connection was registered at police station Nowabad.
Acting swiftly on the complaint, Incharge, police post Talab Tillo, Sub Inspector Sumeet Sharma, along with ASI Abdul Salam arrested the accused Swift driver and solved the case with in 1 hour under the guidance of SHO Nowabad, Inspector Neeraj Bhagat and SDPO, Pranav Mahajan under the close supervision of Incharge SSP Jammu, Vinod Kumar.
