Police solves temple theft case

KATHUA, Oct 24: Hiranagar Police today claimed to have solved a theft case in Nag Mandir near here by arresting two accused women.
A police spokesperson said that theft has taken place in Nag Mandir, and Mandir administration following the theft installed CCTV cameras in the Mandir premises.
During course of investigation, two women were picked up for two days for questioning. After sustained investigation, both the women broke down and confessed the crime and were formally arrested.
They have been identified as Kamla Devi, wife of Monhar Lal and Vaishno Devi wife of Chuni Lal, both resident of Dinga Amb (Sambyal). Police has registered  a case under Section 480, 451 and started investigation.
