Police solves theft case; arrests 2, recovers stolen bike

SAMBA, May 25: Police has solved a theft case registered at Police Station (PS) Bari Brahmana, arrested two accused persons and recovered stolen bike from their possession.
Police said on May 23, a written report was lodged at Police Station (PS) Bari Brahmana by one Sunil Kumar, son of Balraj of Dera, Smailpur, Bari Brahmana regarding theft of his motorcycle bearing Registration Number JK21/9153.
Police said acting over the complaint, a case FIR No. 63/2024 U/S 379/411 IPC has been registered at Police Station, Bari Brahmana and investigation started to work out the theft case. During the course of investigation, police arrested two persons who upon sustained questioning confessed their involvement in the instant case, police said.
The arrested persons have been identified as RajanYadav, son of Subash Yadav of Maharajpur, tehsil and district Dabriya (UP) at present TelliBasti, Bari Brahmana and WasimAkram, son of Iqbal Hussain of Sandi, tehsil and district Jammu. Further on their disclosure stolen bike has been recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
