UDHAMPUR, May 17: The police solved a theft case registered under the jurisdiction of Udhampur Police Station.
Two persons, who were involved in the case were also arrested by the police and stolen property two Ceat Tyres along with Rim of load carrier was also recovered from their possession.
Police Station Udhampur received a complaint from Parmanand of Chari Swail Udhampur that some unknown thieves have stolen two no. of ceat tyres along with rim of his load carrier bearing regd. No. JK14H 6817.
Taking cognizance of the matter, a team headed by SHO Udhampur Raghuvir Singh rounded up a few suspects and put them to sustained questioning.
During which two suspects namely Retik Kumar son of Vijay Kumar of Gandala, Udhampur and Sherbaz son of Ali Hasan of Jhakhar Udhampur arrested and Police team also seized one auto bearing Regd. No. JK14H-8406 from the above said accused persons.
Further investigation into the matter is in progress.
