Police solves theft case within 24 hrs, recovers stolen property

RAMBAN, Dec 6: Police here today solved a theft case within 24 hours and arrested the thief involved in the case and recovered stolen property worth Rs. 2.59 lakh.
As per the case a complaint was received at Police Post Ind Gool from Adman & Liaison Officer Rahee Infratech Ltd, Aloke Roy regarding theft of GSF, Concrete pipe line clamps from Baralla Ind, amounting to Rs. 2,59,500.
On the basis of the complaint a case in FIR No. 127 of 2023 under section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Gool and investigation set into motion.
A special team was constituted by SSP Ramban, Mohita Sharma to recover the stolen material.
During investigation several suspects were rounded up and after sustained questioning one person identified as Muzaffer Hussain, son of Habibullah Mir, resident of Badakund, Gool confessed to have committed the crime and on his disclosure stolen property was recovered.
The recovery was affected by a police team of Police Post Ind headed by PSI Vinod Saini under the guidance of Inspector Firdous Ahmed, SHO Police Station Gool under the supervision of SDPO Gool, Nihar Ranjan and ASP Ramban and under the overall supervision of SSP Ramban, Mohita Sharma.
