BHADARWAH, Jan 18: In the wake of forthcoming Republic Day function, the Police, CRPF and Army here today jointly organised a Flag March.
The Flag March was held with to ensure peaceful Republic Day festivities in the town.
Meanwhile, Police is also keeping a strong vigil in the hilly district to avoid any untoward incident and to foil the nefarious designs by the anti-social and anti-national elements.
SP Bhadarwah, Vinod Sharma led the Flag March along with CO 33rd Battalion CRPF, D.S Negi and 2 IC 4RR Lt. Col. Sameer.
SP Sharma told reporters that to strengthen the security grid in Bhadarwah valley and to review the situation before Republic Day, Police, Para-Military Forces along with the Army took out a Flag March in the town so that the National Day might be celebrated with zeal and full enthusiasm like other parts of the country.
The Flag March started from New Bus Stand Kotli and passed through different areas like Chobia Link Road, Seri Bazaar, Takia Chowk, Sadar Bazar, Masjid Mohalla, Pasri Bus Stand, Green Colony and College Link Road in Bhadarwah town.
Many people especially the children watched the Flag March with enthusiasm.
