Police works out theft case, arrests 2, recovers stolen items

SAMBA, Jan 3: Samba police under the supervision of SSP Samba, Dr. Abhishek Mahajan, has worked out a theft case registered at Police Station (PS) Bari-Brahmana, arrested two accused and recovered stolen items from their hideouts.
Police said on December 24 a written complaint was lodged at PS Bari Brahmana by a complainant namely Vinil Kumar Tyagi owner of M/S Jurassic Refiners, Bari-Brahmana regarding theft of the factory items i.e. motors, wires, generator parts etc.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR No. 236/2022 U/S 457/380 IPC was registered at Police Station (PS) Bari Brahmana and investigation started.
During the course of the investigation, a police team of PS Bari Brahmana headed by SHO, Inspector, Sunil Kumar Sharma under the supervision of Dy.SP Headquarters, Samba, Mohammad Usman in charge SDPO, Bari Brahmana after arduous efforts developed some lead in the case and succeeded in the arrest of two suspects namely Mohammad Younis, son of Ramzan Mohd of Badhori, tehsil Bari Brahmana, district Samba and Fareed Hussain son of Rehmat Ali of Meen Sarkar, tehsil, Bari Brahmana, district Samba.
On their disclosure, police recovered three motors, 750 watts and two Induction Motors, 220 Volts from their possession. Further investigation is going on in the case, police said.
