POONCH, Dec 25: In a friendly cricket match played at Sports Stadium, here Police XI defeated Media XI by 8 runs in a close contest.
Police XI captain SHO Poonch, Jatinder Raina won the toss and decided to bat first.
Police XI with a good start of DySP Sagas Singh Salathia and with the help of 59 runs by Irshad Kirmani and Sarfraz’s 26 runs set a target of 152 for Media XI. Media XI failed to chase the target and lost the match by 8 runs.
DySP DAR, Mr Ghri, DySP Headquarter Mohan Lal, JB Singh, Rajinder Singh Tuffan and Dhunaj Sharma officiated the match.
