SRINAGAR, June 4: A fire and emergency training programme was held for policemen in Anantnag to assist the administration during the forthcoming annual Yatra.
A police spokesman said Anantnag Police in collaboration with experts deputed by the Deputy Director Fire and Emergency Services, Anantnag, imparted a short term training programme to 50 policemen of District Police Lines, Anantnag.
Superintendent of Police Anantnag Sheikh Junaid said the main objective of this programme was to train and educate the police personnel of the district so that their service can be utilized in the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, and to cope with the immediate emergencies in the district.
