SRINAGAR, Sept 11: Prominent political activists from Apni Party and other parties today in Baramulla joined Peoples Conference (PC).
They were welcomed into the party fold by PC president, Sajad Gani Lone; PC vice president, Abdul Gani Vakil, senior PC leaders Fayaz Ahmad Mir and Bashir Ahmad Dar.
The new entrants into the PC were Ghulam Mohammad Mir, BDC Chairman from Kangroosa Rafiabad; Tasleema Akther, Runner-up DDC candidate from Dangiwacha, Rafiabad and Khursheed Ahmed Lone, DDC contesting candidate from Zanger Sopore.
They were accompanied by their supporters.
Speaking on the occasion PC president, Sajad Gani Lone said, the new joining will immensely benefit PC in emerging as a formidable political force.
The new entrants pledged to work with utmost honesty, diligence and passion to strengthen the Party.
