JAMMU, Jan 24: A political party under the name Jammu Kashmir People’s Justice Front (JKPJF) was launched here today and Amit Sethi was made its first General Secretary.
Speaking on the occasion Aga Syed Abbas Rizvi, Chairman of the Front said education and healthcare system in J&K worsened over in the last five decades while employment remained in the clutches of powerful bureaucrats and politicians.
Without directly naming anyone he said that reason for backwardness of J&K was the ancestral rule of some families.
In a press conference here today Rizvi said: “Grandfather-father-son trio and their relatives along with father-daughter duo plundered J&K while plight of common masses remained the same.”
He said that Pashmina and Carpet industry has faced tough times resulting in unemployment and even starvation amongst the artisans.
Rizvi also said that Sufism faced the brunt of volatile and chaotic situation especially during last three decades in J&K.
