JAMMU, Sept 5: Senior BJP and Kashmiri Pandit leader, incharge: Department of Political Affairs and Feedback of party, Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo today visited Pargwal block of Jammu district. He was accompanied by the Jammu Rural district president of BJP, Jagdish Bhagat, BDC Chairman, Nisha Kumari, Pargwal block, Mandal president, Sarpanchs and Panchs of the area.
In a meeting of the representatives, Chrungoo said the politics of blackmail and coercion by the Kashmir centric political, communal and separatist forces over the last seven decades has lost its relevance for all practical purposes. The flow of development, employment and terrorism and corruption free societal set up is the priority of the people and the Government under the able leadership of PM Narendra Modi. He further said that it is the duty of the BJP activists to take the concerns of poor and deserving sections of people to the administration and Government on a regular basis for solution.
He emphasized that the role of Opposition for BJP is over and all BJP activists and the public representatives need to keep themselves abreast of Government schemes for public welfare.
He said “Our consistent focus will be on development, public welfare and zero tolerance against corruption in the processes in and outside the Government and administration in the U T of J & K. BJP has an undiluted commitment towards people and BJP activists will need to take people’s issues to the appropriate authorities for redressal as the responsible public representatives”,. The BJP leaders visited a number of villages and Panchatats and also had a survey of the damaged community facilities, roads and bridges in the block due to recent heavy torrential rains.
“There will be no compromise on the issues like, patriotism, national values, policy of zero tolerance against terrorism and corruption in the UT and our endeavours to generate employment in both the sectors, public and private”, he said. “It is due to the extreme situation of COVID-19 pandemic that the Center’s schemes got delayed.
