Politics of Intolerance

Sir,
Tolerance is the intrinsic characteristic feature of Indian culture and civilization, but unfortunately it is waning which is a cause of grave and serious concern to the political parties, government and the general populace. From very ancient times, the quality and doctrine of tolerance guided us and it formed part of our life and whole governance, thus we should protect this intrinsic beauty of our nation at all costs and if it required any sacrifice, we should be prepared for this and should never let down it in any circumstance. The bane and politics of intolerance and the hatred has become the reality and fashion of the 21st century India. It is the irony that everything is unfortunately politicized by the politicians purely for vote bank politics and appeasement policy. The bane and politics of intolerance has affected our co-existence and mutual brotherhood. The creed of intolerance is threatening our secularism, pluralism and the Hindu-Muslim amity/unity. Therefore, we should not allow the culture of intolerance and hatred to flourish in India as it is against our age old values of Vhasudav Kutumbkam which means whole world is one family and it is centre to all our endeavors and is the theme of our cultural heritage.
