JAMMU, June 30: A group of Polytechnic admission aspirants met the Registrar of JK Board of Technical Education, Kuldeep Singh Bhatia, in his office chamber and apprised him of their difficulties and concerns regarding the submission of online admission forms for three year Engineering /Non Engineering courses at various Polytechnics of UT of JK and UT of Ladakh.
Bhatia attentively listened to their grievances and promptly took action to address their issues. He made note of their concerns and immediately conveyed to Reeta Kundal, Deputy Registrar JK BOTE for early disposal.
Also two officials within the Board Avinash Abrol and Balwinder Kour were allotted duties for collection, facilitation, guidance in online admission form filling in Regular and Lateral Entry respectively. They will work to resolve the problems encountered by the students, ensuring a smooth and efficient admission process.
During the meeting, the aspirants also made a request to extend the last date for submission of online admission forms. They emphasized the need for an extension, considering the recent declaration of the 10th class results, which may have caused delays in the application process for some students. Acknowledging the importance of this request, Bhatia informed the group that the Secretary JK BOTE, Er Shaista Shamin had already issued the order to extend the deadline for submitting online three year Diploma admission forms till 10th of July 2023 ensuring that all eligible students have an opportunity to apply for admission to polytechnic programs. He urged all aspiring students to take advantage of this opportunity of extension and complete the application process within the revised timeline.
