Pool placement drive held at YCET

JAMMU, Nov 26: Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) conducted pool placement drive for Avi Softwares at the college campus for the students of YCET, IMS and MBSCET.
Avi Softwares is product engineering, technology and consulting services provider that partners with organizations to achieve business and digital transformation for them.
The program was conducted by the Placement Cell of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu. Many officials from the company and Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology were involved to properly drive the placement process.
Avinash Kumar Sharma- Director, Avi Softwares, Akanksha Mengi – HR Manager; Megha, Shakeeb and Arun- Software developers hailed the efforts put by the college in nurturing and exploring the young minds for a better tomorrow. From MBSCET, Er Ravinder Bhardwaj (Training and Placement Officer, MBSCET) accompanied their students.
For Avi Softwares, a total of 24 students were shortlisted for the first round. At the end of the grueling selection process, this included a pre-placement presentation, written test, technical interviews, etc.
A total of 07 students were shortlisted after the written test of whom four were from YCET and three were from MBSCET. Total 02 students were selected among which one was from YCET namely Anandita and one was from MBSCET namely Mannat who were selected in training cum placement. These students will join with the final annual package of four lacks approx.
