POONCH, Nov 16: Under the guidance of DC Poonch Vikas Kundal and the supervision of Dr. Parvaiz Ahmed Khan, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Poonch, the district has achieved a major milestone in the health sector.
Recently, three Ayushmaan Arogya Mandir (AAM) sub-centres from District Poonch-namely Kanuyiyan and Lower Dhara from Block Mandi, and Soyian from Block Mendhar-qualified under the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) at the state level.
This significant achievement has been made possible through the close efforts and support of DDC Poonch, Vikas Kundal, who, after taking charge, set ambitious targets to improve health facilities and infrastructure in the district. His consistent efforts and focused approach have resulted in these centres meeting state-level NQAS standards, as documented.
It is hoped that these centres will also achieve NQAS qualification at the national level. The CMO, Dr. Parvaiz Khan, has also played a vital role in this success.
Following the directions of the DDC, he visited many health centres, even during night hours, to ensure effective operations and convey his commitment to high standards. His visits emphasized the importance of dedication and punctuality among employees, with a clear warning that strict action will be taken against defaulters as per the rules.
This collective effort is a testament to the strong leadership and teamwork aimed at enhancing healthcare services in the district.
