POONCH, Nov 22: During an outreach programme of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his cabinet colleagues including Education Minister, Sakina Masood Itoo to Poonch, a delegation of All J&K +2 Lecturers’ Forum, Poonch unit, had a face-to-face meeting with the CM, Education Minister and Director School Education Jammu.
The delegation, led by District President, Jagjeet Singh, highlighted three key issues before the CM & Education Minister. These included regularisation of Incharge lecturers and Incharge Principals; grant of ACP and filling up of vacant posts of Principals.
The CM assured that he would look into these issues on priority.
While interacting with Sakina Itoo, Education Minister, Jagjeet Singh narrated the woeful tale of lecturers. The Education Minister, on the spot issued directions to Director School Education Jammu to clear one-time exemption files within 2 days to pave way for regularisation.
The delegation comprised of Manjinder Singh, Manjit Singh, Mohd Ashraf Shahien, Tariq Mehmood, Charanjit Singh and others.
