Poonch youth handed over by Pak

JAMMU, Dec 16: A youth hailing from Degwar village near LoC in  Poonch, who had crossed over to Pak occupied Kashmir in June this year, was handed over to the Indian security agencies by the Pakistan authorities at Chakkan-da-Bagh LoC point today.
A Defence spokesman said that 22-year-old Mohammad Rashid, son of Sattar Din, a resident of Degwar Teruan village had crossed over to PoK on June 12, 2015.
A report was also lodged by the family  in Poonch Police Station in this connection. Today, the Pakistani security agencies handed over the youth to Indian security agencies. SHO Poonch had gone to LoC point.
The police took him into custody for further questioning. He is being sent to Joint Interrogation Centre for sustained questioning.  He was working as contractual driver and reason of crossing over to PoK  is not yet known, the spokesman added.
