Poor should not be disturbed in land drive: Sena

JAMMU, Feb 14: Balasaheb’s Shiv Sena ( Eknath Shinde), J&K unit has demanded that in the ongoing anti-encroachment drive launched by J&K UT Administration poor people should not be disturbed.
JKUT unit president, Ashwani Gupta said that they were not against the ongoing drive in J&K. They are happy that action is being taken against the big sharks and habitual land grabbers. This is perhaps happening for the first time in the history.
But at the same time, the Shiv Sena appeals the J&K UT Administration that poor people having small chunk of land or small shops or houses to run their livelihood and just as shelter over their head should not be disturbed. Gupta said the Administration should honour its words that ‘poor will not be dislocated’. But they should take stern action against big sharks.
