JAMMU, Dec 2: The poor water supply in Durga Nagar area here today triggered protest.
Joining the protesters, Congress leader, Hoshiar Singh said that poor water supply means that there are inefficient people from top to bottom in the PHE Department.
The protesters raise anti-PHE slogans and torched an effigy of PHE Chief Engineer.
They also blocked the road and said that while they pay their taxes in time, why water supply is not properly restored to them.
The protesters included Anjana Anand, Reva Ganjoo, Kushalaya Thakur, Lalita Thakur, Mamta Devi, Champa Thakur, Nishu Sharma and others.
